Bri-Steel Manufacturing (“Bri-Steel”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Pipe Tools mobile application (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use it on your Android device.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Pipe Tools is a steel pipe reference and calculation tool for pipe purchasers, sales teams, manufacturers, inspectors, fabricators, engineers, and field workers. It provides pipe charts (ASME B36.10M, API 5CT), unit and cost conversions, specification reference data, mechanical and hardness conversions, carbon equivalent calculations, truckload and buoyancy weight calculators, ASME B31.3 pressure and wall thickness calculators, a steel pipe quote estimator that generates PDF quotes, a photo-based pipe-counting tool, and an in-app assistant.
The App requires you to create an account and sign in so your profile and certain features work across sessions.
To provide accounts and certain features, the App collects the following, which is stored using our cloud provider (Google Firebase) on our behalf:

The App does not collect advertising identifiers, and it does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.
The following is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party:
Local data is removed when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
When you choose to email a PDF quote or a calculation record, the App opens your device’s email app (or the Android share menu) with the content attached. You decide whether and to whom it is sent. The email is sent through the email service you choose (for example Gmail or Outlook), not through Bri-Steel, and that service’s own privacy policy applies. Bri-Steel does not receive a copy.
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the App:
The App may also contain links to external websites, such as www.bri-steel.com, or options to call or email our sales team. If you follow those links, the privacy policies of those websites or services apply.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed in Section 5 for the purposes described, or where required by law.
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
When you delete your account, your account data is permanently removed and is not retained. Locally-stored data can also be removed at any time via Settings > Apps > Pipe Tools > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the App.
Data transmitted between the App and our services is encrypted in transit, and access to your account data is restricted to your authenticated account. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own protections (such as a screen lock). We recommend keeping your device and the App updated.
The App is a professional tool intended for general and industrial audiences. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live, including under Canada’s PIPEDA, applicable U.S. state privacy laws (such as the CCPA), or the EU/UK GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account deletion described above or contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App’s features change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
